Pakistan blocks Wikipedia over ‘blasphemous’ content
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had earlier degraded Wikipedia’s services in the country. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has blocked Wikipedia due to the website’s refusal to remove allegedly offensive or blasphemy material.
