MBZ Visits UAE Troops 

 The Khalifa bin Zayed II Airborne Brigade is a high-readiness strategic unit specializing in airborne operations and rapid deployment, significantly enhancing the UAE’s ability to respond quickly to emerging security challenges. 

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently visited the Khalifa bin Zayed II Airborne Brigade Command, part of the Presidential Guard Command, where he was briefed on the brigade’s strategic structure and its pivotal role in the UAE’s national defence. 

The Khalifa bin Zayed II Airborne Brigade is a high-readiness strategic unit specialising in airborne operations and rapid deployment, significantly enhancing the UAE’s ability to respond quickly to emerging security challenges. As a cornerstone of the UAE Armed Forces, the brigade is equipped to carry out special missions and swift response operations. Its formation reflects the UAE’s commitment to modernizing its defence capabilities and maintaining a highly capable, efficient military force. 

During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed was updated on the brigade’s operational responsibilities and capabilities. The brigade plays an essential role in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty, with personnel trained to execute complex operations with professionalism and precision. The unit’s swift mobilization and readiness exemplify the UAE’s forward-thinking approach to defence and national security. 

His Highness expressed deep appreciation for the brigade’s personnel, acknowledging their commitment and dedication. “Your loyalty, spirit of patriotism, and sense of duty are integral to our nation’s security and stability,” Sheikh Mohamed stated. He reaffirmed that enhancing the capabilities of the UAE Armed Forces and improving operational readiness remain top priorities for the government, ensuring the country’s ability to effectively defend its sovereignty and achievements. 

At the conclusion of the visit, Sheikh Mohamed joined members of the brigade and airborne operational support units for a group photo, where the personnel expressed their unwavering loyalty to the nation’s leadership. They reaffirmed their dedication to defending the UAE, ensuring its security, and protecting its resources with the utmost commitment and professionalism. 

Accompanying His Highness during the visit were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence; His Excellency Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs; Lieutenant General Engineer Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces; and several senior military officials. The visit highlighted the UAE’s continued focus on strengthening its defence capabilities and maintaining the security of the nation.
