The fans were enthralled to witness Axl Rose and Slash — two of the band’s iconic rockstars — performing live with their greatest classic hits, delivered with adrenaline-filled rock fury. Legendary American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses set the Mumbai crowd ablaze with their timeless tracks. The stage was outfitted with top-tier equipment, sound systems, amplifiers, and powerful LED screens displaying the iconic Guns N’ Roses logo and electrifying visuals.
The band kicked things off with ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ sending shockwaves through the crowd. Fans sang along with the band, their voices rising in a wild crescendo that won the hearts of all present.
Axl Rose, the frontman of Guns N’ Roses, roared to the fans, “It’s good to see you again, Mumbai!” prompting loud applause and a sea of raised rock horn signs. Many fans wore symbolic Guns N’ Roses T-shirts, showing their deep devotion to the band.

Slash went solo and showcased his unmatched skill with the electric guitar that could melt steel. His guitar solos and beats echoed and resonated in every nook and corner of the concert venue and kept all the fans mesmerized with his magical guitar notes. The legendary guitarist’s quote on music is also legendary. His quote, ‘Guitar is the only form of self expression I know’’.
Being a man of his word, Slash electrified his Mumbai fans by playing the guitar tunes of many of the band’s classical hits that made Guns N Roses synonymous with the Rock and Roll genre.
Guns N’ Roses unleashed a chain of some of their best fan-favorite hits such as- ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, ‘Bad Obsession’,’ Its So Easy’, ‘Night Train’, ‘Sweet Child O Mine’, ‘Don’t Cry’, ‘Live and Let Die’, ‘You Could Be Mine’, ‘Knocking on Heaven’s Door’ and even ‘Paradise City’ that kept their enthralled fans on their toes. The fans sang along and swayed in rhythmed with the tunes of the band’s classical hits with pumped-up adrenaline and vigor. Towards the end of this epic concert, Guns N Roses frontman announced the names of his formidable crew members- Axl Rose (lead vocalist and pianist) Michael Andrew Mckagan aka Duff Mckagan (bassist), Darren Arthur Reed famous as Dizzy Reed (keyboardist), Melissa Reed (keyboardist), Richard Fortus (guitarist) Isaac Carpenter (drummer) and last but not the least and fan-favorite Saul Hudson aka Slash.
Without easing out even for a break, the rock and roll legends played continuously for 3 hours non-stop filling the air with hysterical rock fury. Axl Rose teased fans with this inevitable encore that will remain etched forever in the minds of the fans. ’Are you ready for one more?,’ Thousands joined in and sang in chorus the most memorable lines from the mega-hit ‘Paradise City’- in all rock glory. The end of the Guns N’ Roses concert saw the band coming together with Axl Rose and the his Guns N’ Roses band members bidding a final adieu to all his fans.
The Mahalaxmi Racecourse is one of the biggest concert venues in Mumbai. The Guns N’ Roses concert venue laid out platforms for merchandise such as Guns N’ Roses T-Shirts and hoodies, mugs, bandanas, wristbands etc. Prior to the epic Guns N Roses show, an Indian band GATC (Girish and the Chronicles) entertained the audience with a few of their songs as a prelude to the show. The food stalls saw some of the newest startups that got the rare opportunity to showcase their fast food items. Some of the prominent fast food startups such as Kaavo Hotdogs, Pinto Sando, Kebab Gunj, Good Flipping Burgers, Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, Cuebebar Smokehouse, Little Loco Pops etc. Little Loco Pops is India’s first stall where they sell alcohol-laced popsicle sticks. So, mega concert events like Guns N’ Roses offer great marketing opportunities and growth to these fast food startups.
Fans had to walk for almost 4kms in long queues just to attend the Guns N Roses concert. At the sprawling Mahalaxmi racecourse, the venue was morphed in pure rock fury that will remain etched in the minds of Guns N’ Roses fans forever as pure hard rock music nostalgia .
The band founded in 1985-with Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKragan and Steven Adler. The band name Guns N Roses a band formed from 2 local bands- LA Guns and Hollywood Rose went on to fulfil the legacy of becoming one of the greatest rock bands of all time. India looks forward to the Kings of Rock N Roll to electrify Mumbai once more in future!
