Etihad WE is expanding high-speed EV charging stations

CEO Yousif Al Ali announced that Etihad Water and Electricity (Etihad WE) is launching a significant initiative to expand the availability and construction of high-speed EV charging stations across the Northern Emirates.

In statements to Emirates News Agency (WAM) on the sidelines of the first day of the World Future Energy Summit, hosted by Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), Al Ali stated that the company is actively replacing old chargers with high-speed alternatives and has ambitious expansion plans in this area.

Regarding the anticipated investment for this initiative, Al Ali explained that EtihadWE is collaborating with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and will host a conference in May to unveil all details pertaining to EV chargers.
