The 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world’s largest event tailored specifically for content creators and entrepreneurs, has introduced an innovative AI-powered mobile application, designed to propel attendee experience to new heights.

Available on both the Apple Store and Google Play, the platform promises to streamline networking, schedule management, and sponsor engagement, all while empowering users to curate a hyper-personalised summit journey.

Organised by New Media Academy from 10-11 January at the Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future, the summit aims to rewrite the rulebooks for content creation, social media, and digital innovation in a two-day whirlwind of cutting-edge insights, industry icons, and immersive experiences.

The innovative mobile application boasts AI-powered matchmaking capabilities, utilising advanced algorithms to connect attendees and sponsors with individuals who share similar interests, relevant professions and skill sets. The platform also offers 1-to-1 video meetings within the app, providing incredible networking opportunities while facilitating efficient and engaging interactions.

The comprehensive app offers customisable agendas and notifications to streamline activities and in-person meetings during the 2-day event. The handy in-app private messaging feature also enables instant communication, while ticket-specific networking customises the experience based on attendee’s ticket type.

The app provides a dedicated schedule page with filtering and search functionalities, allowing attendees to manage their agendas effortlessly. Meeting calendar sync ensures integration with calendar apps, including Google and Apple Calendar. The addition of stories and articles, featuring highlights, announcements, and tailored content, will ensure that attendees receive personalised content from the summit and their partners and sponsors.

Partners and sponsors of this year’s summit will also benefit from “virtual booths” that serve as comprehensive spaces to showcase their brand, collect leads, and engage prospects through multimedia content and interactive features such as polls, chats, and forms. This real-time interaction is further enhanced through live sponsor booth chat, as well as a “Meet-at-Booth,” functionality, allowing them to personalise their engagement and provide attendees with up-to-the-minute info and opportunities. A handy RSVP feature also facilitates session attendance and capacity, ensuring a tailored and comfortable experience for all at the summit.

With the 1 Billion Followers Summit app, participants can look forward to an engaging, and highly personalised experience, making the event more valuable and productive than ever before. This year’s summit will build upon the success of its first edition, which featured 75+ speakers, 6,500+ attendees, and 40+ sessions and workshops. The 2024 edition is expected to go even bigger and better, hosting 190+ speakers in 100+ expert-led sessions, keynotes and speeches, fireside chats, debates, and workshops. The second edition of the summit anticipates an attendance of 7,000 individuals, including 3,000 content creators.
