Al Salama PolyClinic Unveils 10th Anniversary Logo

From a humble beginning of one speciality clinic has now 16 departments and served over 600,000 patients in the last ten years, reports Vinod Raghavan

MUSCAT : It is a big achievement for Al Salama Polyclinic in its decade old journey serving the community from Mabelah and its surrounding areas in the Muscat Governorate has grown up tremendously from a humble beginning with just a speciality clinic, has now three branches and 16 departments.

As part of the 10th Anniversary celebration, Chief guest Dr. Muhanna Nasser Al Maslahi, Director General of Private Health Institutions, Ministry of Health (MOH) unveiled the new logo, marking a significant milestone in the clinic’s ten year journey.

From a humble beginning with just a speciality clinic embarked on its journey on October 24, 2014 with just four departments and 14 dedicated staffs in Mabelah, recalled Dr. Siddeque Mankada, Hospital Director a down to earth man, adding, “with the passage of time three more branches and 16 departments with 40 medical doctors and more than 150 staff members including para medical staff serves the patients with utmost care and professionally.”

A beaming Dr Siddeque, revealed that new Super specialties, Cardiology, Pathology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, ENT, Gynecology, Diabetology, Radiology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, IVF, Orthodontics and  Dental department and also round the clock General Practitioner is available.

In the last ten years, Al Salama has also added to its service viz. Emergency  Service, Pharmacy, Visa Medical Service, Echo, TMT, Radiology, Family Privilege Card, Diabetes Clinic, fully equipped lab with pathologist supervision amongst others. A humble Dr. Siddeque, said, “Al Salama team is proud as they served over six hundred thousand patients successfully, while celebrating 10 years, Al Salama continues to Serve nationals and expats with 40 doctors and more than 150 staff across the three branches.

“We attribute our success to the trust of our patients and total dedication of our staff,” revealed Dr Rashid Ali, Managing Director, and added, as part of our 10th anniversary celebration, we are conducting several affordable cost health- packages, blood donation camps and social activities.

Present on the occasions were Salim Al Jabri, Managing Director, Nikesh Poonthottathil, Senior  Marketing Manager, Safeer Velladath, Branch Manager, Girish Mayannur, Finance Manager, Khadija Al Balushi, Public Relation Manager and Sameer, Marketing Manager, amongst others.
