Fine HH sponsors New Classroom at Rashid Center

Fine Hygienic Holding (FHH) has partnered with the Rashid Center for People of Determination to open a specialist classroom which will facilitate the support and development of autism spectrum students…reports Asian Lite News

FHH’s support has funded the construction of the classroom at the non-profit organization’s premises, and also helped purchase essential learning materials and equipment which are essential to the development of autism spectrum students.

James Michael Lafferty, CEO of FHH, a world-leading wellness group and manufacturer of hygienic paper products and germ protection solutions, visited Rashid Centre to inaugurate the specialist classroom.

“Effecting change in the communities we operate in is one the ways FHH can make a positive impact on the world around us,” said Mr Lafferty. “There is always a conversation about how we can better serve the communities we operate in, and knowing that we can contribute to the learning and development of People of Determination is a great honor.”

Founded in 1994, the Center has dedicated its efforts to providing education and therapy for People of Determination. Over the past 27 years, it has enabled the UAE’s People of Determination through therapeutic programme, organised forums, workshops, and educational classes backed by scientific findings and practical approaches.

The classroom built through the Fine and Rashid Center partnership will not only support the learning and development of autism spectrum students, but will also aid in the identification of autism in the UAE. As a result, this will allow more autism spectrum students access to the support network and learning tools developed and used by Rashid Center.

“The private sector in Dubai and the UAE has always been a pillar of support for people of determination as it plays a crucial role in rehabilitating people of determination and preparing them for integration into society,” said Maryam Othman, Directress General of the Rashid Center for People of Determination. “Fine Hygienic Holding’s support went primarily toward establishing a classroom dedicated to people with high functioning autism. It also included purchasing a range of equipment to help our students.

“By working with Fine Hygienic Holding, we are able to provide the best possible services to people of determination, allowing them to reach their full potential. People of determination are part of our grand message that we all strive to uphold, to stand for values that reflect our Emirati society as a whole.”

Maryam Othman also expressed the depth of the partnership that will unite the Center and Fine Hygienic Holding.

“We look forward to a long-term partnership that can be invested in supporting people of determination and providing all their needs, no matter their nationalities, race, or religion,” explained Othman.

FHH is the MENA region’s leading manufacturer of hygienic paper products with a focus on sustainability, state-of-the-art production processes, and pioneering CSR programmes, as its core beliefs lie in health and wellness.
