Dubai to celebrate Kuwait’s 61st National Day

Dubai is hosting diverse entertainment events to celebrate the 61st National Day of Kuwait on 25th February, underscoring the close relations between the UAE and Kuwait…reports Asian Lite News

The celebrations will start at Dubai International Airport, where visitors from Kuwait will receive a warm welcome and be offered traditional sweets and Arabian coffee. Expo 2020 Dubai also plans to host Kuwait’s National Day celebrations.

Many hotels, shopping malls and tourism landmarks also plan to launch promotions and special activities during the day.

Dubai to celebrate Kuwait’s 61st National Day

Tomorrow, Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and the Dubai Frame will be lit with the colours of the Kuwaiti flag, while the Palm Fountain at The Pointe in Palm Jumeirah will play the Kuwaiti national anthem.

Kuwait’s National Day celebrations will continue through a promotional campaign on e-platforms and social media, including messages of congratulations. In addition, Dubai’s residents can enjoy all activities taking place in safety, as the emirate has implemented comprehensive safety measures.

Ahmed Alkhaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment at Dubai Tourism, said the close ties between the UAE and Kuwait are witnessing further advancement, highlighted by the festive activities in Dubai celebrating Kuwait’s National Day.

These events are part of the country’s significant efforts and the support of relevant partners and will enhance Dubai’s stature as an international destination that welcomes everyone, he added.

The emirate is calling on residents and guests to enjoy the activities taking place on the occasion and urging everyone to adhere to relevant precautionary measures to boost the emirate’s reputation as one of the world’s safest destinations.
